Stage 1: RITKIST training a new recruit

"If you wouldn't mind my dear....." Cool blue orbs scanned the room so far from their comrades, Hidden by a perfect shift that hid the entrance from those she hadn't told. The world seemed to transform as her lover transformed the universe to her will before disappearing from view. It was proving amazingly more helpful to have a reality shifter with each waning day. The entrance way rippled for a moment as her trainee entered silently.

"welcome child. speak to noone of this sanctuary for it was of my creation. " She passed a single hand from left to right to show the boy her training room, making sure the sylus was out of sight to ensure there would be no.....issues.

Slowly rising from his corner which seemed to be enveloped in the darkness,He tilted his head downwards to hide his slight confusion with this odd female. "What do you want with me"

"I've seen the look in your eyes. you are different from the others. and i fear your weakness to be a danger. do you understand the powers you were given?" Her gaze fell upon the young ritkist, and in an instance the calm expression plastered across her shifted, her eyes narrowing as her lip curled up into a devious grin.

"I don't understand anything in this world" as he slowly bent down into a ready stance noticing her shift in position"Don't underestimate me though"

"child.....you know so little of this world. " She drew from her pocket a few small black spikes, shifting their weight in her hands before tossing the weapons onto the ground activating her shift. ((bear with me im not sure how the summons work either)


"you have a great number of powers, called shifts, begining with the ability to change the composition of things to your will and ending with summons."

Quickly jumping back he knelt to the ground in a defensive position"What are you doing odd girl?" He braced his greaves into the ground for extra stability from anything that may occur"I'm fascinated by you"

"This......young one is the true power of the ritkist alter shifters" She turned her attention to the sprite that darted to and fro awaiting her orders. " stand down my dear. i call on your strength solely for the purpose of explaination."

The creature stopped it's movement, brushing one of the loose blond curls from it's tiny blue face before adressing it's master. "as you wish m'lady."

"our power alter shift allows us to manipulate the things around us to fit our need. "

"So i see,What exactly is this" as he continually sticks to his defensive stance squinting to make out what or where that small pixie had come from"Show me what you can do and what this "true power" you speak of"

"I thought you'd never ask...." She disappeared from view, casting her first alter shift to shift through oblivion appearing behind him ducking down to sweep his legs from under him(5) before flipping her momentum over to axe kick downward as he fell(6) ending her onslaught with a mental command to the summon.

"do it. now."

The sprite sprang to life striking at her summoner's chest with blinding speed her hands striking across his chest with believable strength.(7)(6)(7) As the last attack hit The creature collapsed in on itself, disappearing as the summoning ended leaving amber alone with her opponent.

"Tch" he easily jumped over the sweep to lean his body to the side in the air to exchange his own blow as he kicked towards his opponents head(4),While blocking the felled kick with his forearm.

He used the momentum from her blocked kick to bring him down to the earth faster he caught himself on his left arm to bring a sliding kick to the back of her right leg(4)

Pushing off the ground he pulled himself up to the air again to continue his barrage just in time to see the little pixie attack his chest he had no time to manage a defense for the first attack it hit with incredible speed and strength,He managed to put his arms up for the second blow but was somehow it's last attack pushed through his guard and pushed him through the air to send him flying to the ground.

He hit the ground spinning off the force to push him back to his feet"You are indeed strong I'll learn alot"

She dropped to the ground disappearing through the ground as she activated another alter shift, reappearing in front of him a short distance away. Whipping the blood from the corner of her lip she applauded her opponent's attack before starting again. "now try your power. alter shift."

As she rose her hand to point at the man She released the spikes, which transformed in midair to four tiny pointed ice darts which struck at vital points in his shoulders, tearing the ligaments to lame his arms. (6)(6)(6)(6)

As he trained his eyes onto the female as she vanished and reappeared "That vanish and appear act of yours could get really annoying"

Just as he said the woman pointed her hand at him.He barely had time to re act to the tiny projectiles coming towards his body he side stepped to his left to evade the deadly needles but one hit him in his right shoulder.

He winced at the pain and grabbed his shoulder"So this is the power we share Hmm let me give this a try also i will try my weapon" He knelt down and clicked the latch on his greaves to release his blades,He pulled out the needle in his arm and held it tightly,He began a full sprint towards her throwing the altered needle shifting it into a dagger it hurled towards her abdomen(5)

He knelt while running into a full slide to kick upwards into her chest with his right leg turning the knives on his leg towards her(7) followed by grabbing her leg and pulling it from under her to bring her down to the ground(3)

She dodged the kick, barely flinching at the dagger wound pouring blood down her side. He smiled as adrenaline took control of her body, dispelling the pain in her back as she hit the ground to slip directly through the ground, reappearing once again a distance away.

"not too much energy left...." she thought deciding to finish the lesson quickly. "not bad. now have fun with this...."

She dropped another handful of the spikes onto the ground, smiling as they shifted, forming her new favored weapon, Dual sided chained kamas, a single metal spike rebounding on the ground to finish her technique.

He back flipped to gain distance and stared into her eyes"This is fun I'm glad to see what i can do and how i fare in the crowd" He knelt down sitting on his legs he pointed towards her pointing his hand urging her forwards"Lets have more fun" as he clapped his hands together

"shift.....or i'll make you." She threw the first weapon out, watching it whiz through the air to find it's place embedded deep in his shoulder.(6) With an almost sadistic smile she flicked the chain length around his head forcing his movements with a flick of her wrist to either be strangled or fall to the ground(6) before finishing the attack by releasing her chain's grip around his neck showing perfect control of the ranged weapon by removing it from it's position embedded in his shoulder and returning it to her hand(4)

"Now now this looks dangerous" He stood up tilted his body slightly to avoid the weapon"shoot didn't see that coming" as the chain wrapped around his neck,He dropped to the ground gripping the chain before feeling the pain in his arm as her weapon departed and drew back to her.

As he slowly stood back up he put his arms in his pockets"These things are getting hurt more than need be i wont use them" he smiled again he took off into a rush jumping into the air he wrapped his legs around her neck choking her with his thighs(4) following with a headbutt(5) jumping off her body he kicked with his left leg with spikes engaged to her left arm(3) and letting it slide down her arm ripping flesh as he came to the ground(7) staying connected to her

"SHIT" She screamed in pain as she felt the leg wrap around her neck, choking her for a moment. She dodged the headbutt, spinning her body to release herself from the hold, slashing at his chest with her weapons again, feeling the bite of his blade into her arm as her free arm caught the attack, slipping the chain around his leg to trip him(4) burying both weapons into his shoulders( 8 ) ( 8 )
