Team Struggle: Diemos-Diminish -- Amber-Pasquale

"I am your tournament host, Winmei. Before beginning the match please be sure to note the rules here: Rules and Match-up
This is a match between the Diemos-Diminish and Amber-Pasquale teams. It is a team struggle match and you will be using my personal weapon, the Phantasmal long sword. The winner of this match will continue on to challenge the Quin-Epiphany team.

Pasquale stepped into the arena, sweat dripping from his forehead. The smell of dried blood filled his nostrils and sent him into a frenzy as he took the other-worldly sword in his hands and lurched forward. He bobbed his head from side to side, stretching whereever he felt necessary and looked up at the sky. Twilight. The perfect time for a bloodbath.

The creases in his arms showed as his muscles tensed. His face shined in the rising sun. He was in fact beautiful. Scarred, but a very majestic creature indeed. "Come forward, those who wish to face me. See what fate has bestowed upon you this hour" he spoke, voice resignating throughout the entire collosseum.

He supressed the flashbacks trying to force their way to the forefront of his mind. He wanted more than anything to remember who he was, and how he'd gotten here, but now was not the time for reminiscing. This was the moment for PAIN. This was the moment metal touched metal. This was the moment flesh ripped from bone and tore into shreds. Blood would be spilled, no doubt. Pasquale became anxious for this moment to arrive. TOO anxious....

Slipping through the corridors amber smiled as she passed the large doorway, entering into the arena. It was much bigger then she remembered. In the center stood her teammate, Who looked so much like her brother it almost hurt.

"pasquale! are you ready to defeat whatever foul creatures have the displeasure of our company this night?" she caught the sword tossed by a short sire at the edge of the arena flashing it around a bit to get used to the weapon before burying the tip deep into the dirt ring below her feet, drawing from the bag hidden behind her cloak a large set of shackles. First she passed the left one over her fingers to set on her wrist, the metal shrinking to fit snuggly against her skin. then she finished with her right in a similar fashion, ripping the blade from it's temporary home to test the new weight. "yes. that will be perfect."

The silence was broken by a cry issuing from the corridor opposite of the coliseum, the scream was promptly stifled followed by the ripping of flesh. Diemos strode from the darkened hall covered in what was left of the squire that approached him too closely, dragging the long blade behind him as though it was of little value. He brought the hilt to eye level weighing the weapon in his hand, then his attention wondered to the other two across the battleground. The odd creature stowed the sword, securing it to one of the many straps on his back and lowered himself on all fours. Every muscle tensed, his body contorting into a more animalistic stance. Pulling open the zipper, he revealed a lipless mouth barring unusually sharp teeth.

A torrent of whispers seemed to pierce the arena, silencing anything else that dared to speak up against the unnatural sounds. As the demon diemos dropped down to his natural fighting stance his shadow seemed to flicker for a moment like ripple in a lake. Slowly the black imaige of the man in white shifted, the body features shrinking and morphing until Dimenish's feminine physique dominated the reflection, a splash of pigment pouring through the dark canvas as dimenish entered the battle field.

"ssssshall...........we?"

You know...There's sort of a limit for this to happen and you guys are really slowing the process here. Not even a single attack posted. That's a pretty epic fail considering it's been a week.

I would honestly just skip their match if this persists any longer. Whether you all have a life or not, You should at least notify us as what your problems are. Then and only then, we might be sympathetic to you not wanting to post. Sumimasen, I mean, Not being able to post.

Hardly see how 3 days equates to 7, but since there is a post limit it would only be fair to keep it turn based...and being that it is not my turn I am at loss of what to do. :(

It was merely a generalized statement. But you(all) are still at fault regardless. The moment Reaper stated, Begin, you should have committed to attacking as your post, since there is a limit on the number of posts. You(all) make it seem like you(all) are afraid of the system or something. It is there for your benefit.

((it could also be that we respect each other enough to sacrifice a post for a proper intro. and if the powers that be wanted quick fights it probably would have been a good idea to not have me in three out of the six positions in the tourney. though i do have ample time usually, it is a bit taxing to rp on the main board and fight against negumi and myself >.> lmao.))

"let us make quick work of these two." She looked between the two fighters, noticing the similarities in their stance, and weighing her options.

She almost seemed to disappear from sight, showing her true speed right away, for fear of her holding back allowing her former comrad to get an opening. she spun around the female's body, bringing her blade strait down, taking no time with formalities, to strike at the girl's neck going for critical damage off the bat. (11) Her next move brought her stance wider as she dropped down to sweep the girl's legs (7) before bringing her foot down in an axe kick across the other creature's back( 7 ) allowing the blade to spin in time with each of her strikes to stay just out of the way of her next attack, finishing her onslaught with a slash at diemos' shoulder blade, tracing the ball joint to practically lame the limb.( 8 )

Diemos leaned into the attack, ensuring that her blade met his that was sheathed on his back. Shifting his weight to his hands he lashed out with both legs aimed at the attackers gut knocking her to the ground(4)(4). The creature spun around and leaped upon his victim, pinning her by seizing her throat and left wrist with his hands. Returning the attempt, he sunk teeth into her left shoulder gnawing at vital tendons to lame her arm( 8 ). For now she was no longer Amber his faithful companion, they were enemies and she was treated as such. It was almost frightening how well he could suppress the fact. Dismounting, Diemos placed his feet on her chest flipping backwards none too gently to land on all fours(6).

Pasquale had a sudden flashback of his former life as he saw the brutality of Diemos's onslaught. She was there in his memory. Suddenly he remembered her and let out an ear-shattering howl. Rage filled his eyes as he saw the demon chewing into her flesh.

Dashing with other-wordly speed he careened his staff straight down towards his head to dislodge the teeth of her attacker from her shoulder (7). He took a brief step back and leapt into the air as he removed his dual blades and sent them towards his would-be attacker, aiming to place them into his own shoulders (6)(6).

"AMBER!!!!!!!!" Pasquale shouted. He could remember that this was his old partner. Now if only he could remember his own identity. Figuring that Amber could take the beast on herself, Pasquale averted his attention to the demon's partner, realizing that if left unattended things could end badly for them both.

He plummeted like a comet, flipping through the air, occassionally doing handsprings for show. He took aim for Dimenish and using distance, hurled his blade through the air, aiming for the midsection (8).

Because you were present in the battle ground when this occurred please be cautioned: the magic supports maintaining the battle regulations have been shattered. Abilities-spells-summons have been unlocked due to the disturbance.

Though he does not quite understand why he is drawn to the grounds and enters with utter disregard as to what is occurring to approach the one creature that seems to glow in his sight. The baubles that clink and chime on his person make for a whimsical melody as he stops and bows before the individual. There is a name that comes to mind. "Master, Dimenish." A tremor shakes the grounds at his feet and he recoils, sweeping the creature he so readily recognizes into is arms and stepping back to where there is far less vibration. "I've come to collect you."

She looked up at the odd man, recognising his aura as that of a euphoric....her euphoric. With a nod of her head she left her companion's side, whispering under her breath "we....will finish this battle another time amber." Her dark red eyes flashed beneath her mask, boring into her very essence as she removed the mask from her face, seeing a tear run down her lover's face as the realization of who she had been facing pierced her consciousness, bringing a terrible smile across dimenish's face.

She turned her attention back to the odd man slipping to his side in a single bound. "lead the way."

Pasquale could feel the grounds of the labrynth shaking as he looked all around. "This is going to have to continue some other time I'm afraid." He brushed his hands against the wall as he leapt into the air and onto the platformed path above him as he sprinted for the exit.

Adrenaline coursed through his veins for he knew that he had to escape quickly.
