Quin gives the Horror a full body rub and buries his face in the black aura of the creature's otherworldly form. "This is my dog!" He pauses for a moment and rethinks that. "What's left of him." As though the topic is something to be easily discussed he gets back up and takes Epiphany's hand resuming their escape. "Before Nomida was destroyed my and my best friend brought Ori and raised him together. Then afterwards when he nearly died and my best friend left me I killed a bunch of other dogs and meshed them with what was left of Ori." He patted his hip to keep the monster's attention making sure it followed them out of the maze to safety. "How's the back?" She still smelled like death to him.

"Well, I don't need other girls grafted to me to keep me alive if that is what your worrying about." I say playfully mentioning Ori in the remark. This wound was bad, I think to myself. If I don't get out of here soon, It will probably be fatal. If I can just get back to the Hotel, I'll be fine.... I hope.

He howled at the fresh attack and in frustration and fury in losing his prey to the perils of the maze. Bucking forward to kick off the nuisance on his shoulders, the hollow shell screamed furiously and lashed out at the creature with magnificent force (6) Backing up to get a cleared sight of the white clad thing in his way Illya screamed with paralyzing tones and materialized magic from the anguish of his body pushing it to his hands and slashing the searing force across the chest of his prey with no recognition left to him ( 8 )
Tears of glass and blood sliced into his cheeks and the hollowed sockets of his eyes. It hurt! It hurt!

Epiphany cocked her head to the side. She looked up and saw the patterns and saw she was going in the right way to get out. "Quin... Do you hear that? The fighting above us? I think the hollow Illya is being fought with by some one... Perfect cover." I say then look down to Ori and smile to him with a thumbs up, hoping the homunculous understands simple gestures.

Quin looks up too. She's right. He frowns a little. "Yeah," he mutters, "Something is definitely up..." The smell of blood is getting stronger and something within his warns him to move faster. His mind is fogging against he closing his eyes Quin takes much more shallow breaths to avoid breathing in the tantalizing aroma. He quickly grabs her attention and points up to the magic supports. "Hey, look, we may have to split up so you can get out of here faster so pay attention," he says quickly. "You need to follow the green supports every time they go east and the yellow every time they turn north, okay?" He has to hurry it up! If something goes wrong and he can't get her out of here, Quin knows that Epiphany will die. "I'm sending Ori with you. He'll protect you as long as you don't get overly emotional." Grabbing both her forearms Quin looked his companion straight in the eye with such intensity he was afraid he might send the wrong signal. "You have to stay calm and move fast. I'll find you. I promise."

He's trying to avoid another bloodlust outburst. Right. I reach up on my toes and kiss him on the lips quickly and gently, then break from his grasp and spin around. I pat my leg for Ori to follow quickly and kindly. Then I look at Quin, "What will I find at the end of the maze, Quinnetil?" I say smiling still walking backwards, knowing that I'm avoiding any obtrusive items.

He hadn't been expecting the kiss and after turning a blazing red he ducked his head down, eyes a bit wide in bewilderment. He'd never received that sort of affection. Not once. Even Negumi had denied him that sort of compassion and yet... Clearing his throat when her inquiry met his ears he put only a small fragment of his thoughts so he could properly respond. "Follow the supports and they'll lead you out of the maze into another entry port that will take up to the sewer surface in the Ebon trade district." He nodded to Ori in a secret communication. "H--he'll protect you." Why wouldn't the heat in his face subside already? He couldn't give it much more thought and ran in the opposite direction. He had to keep other Horrors off her tail. When he thought he was far enough, Quin dropped to his knees and shot his hands skyward. It had to be done...

"Permissum non lux lucis of dies defluo."

At his words the surrounding area lost every ounce of light as though it had been simply drained away into nothingness. Through the blackness the resounding echo of what sounded like something horrifically heavy dropping from a great height was heard.

Materializing Weapon

I pat Ori on the back and scratch his head. "Right.... So out we go." I say sprinting off, not caring if the horror can keep up. It seemed fit enough as it was with how supernatural it was in the first place. I jumped over somethings, looking up and checking the orbs. Within a few moments of sprinting, I pause and breath a little bit and watch Ori run past me for a moment. I laugh quietly and hear some ruckus behind me. I curse silently and get to the ladder and climb up it. I push the lid up gently to check who is out...

I stare down at the young woman who suddenly and mysteriously pokes her head out between my ankles. I'm alarmed that the woman is arriving from a port hole to the sewage system....It's the look on her face that truly alarms me. As though she were both bewildered and despairingly in pain. I drop to a squat and pluck her from the hole in the street carefully. "What are you doing?" I mutter more to myself than for her. There is the reek of blood...And...

Something black pops its head up through the hole next and instantly I have the girl pushed behind me and my weapon drawn and at the ready. "A HORROR."

Ori was a good mutt and upon seeing the surface quickly sinked his jagged teeth "gently" into the calf of the woman that had been traveling with his master. Quin had demanded something as simple as wiping her memory as soon as they hit the surface and with his task of escorting her into the market, Ori understood his simple attack would seal the deal. Barking at the other woman who had met with them, the Horror dissolved into the pavement like the phantom beast he truly was and returned to his master.

I scream at being betrayed by Ori... But then again... It only did this when I got to the surface... Shit, I need to stop being so optimistic. When I get into the alleyway, I find it almost funny this girl is defending me. "I didn't even see it behind me." I say cursing myself for leaving myself so open to attack. "What was that?" I question panicking and trying to remember something, Didn't I just think of something... Ori? Orion? What?

Slowly the force field about him weakened and faded into nothing exposing what had been hidden within. Quin straightened, his hands upon a massive mirror that was for all purposes chained, shackled, covered, locked, and restricted. To passerby or stranger it wouldn't have occurred to them that the towering, black glassed mirror was in truth a weapon more powerful than could typically be contemplated. He didn't have the time to care. With surprising ease Quin lifts the thing onto his back as though it weighs nothing and dashed off towards the source of the racket. If he guessed right, Illya was under attack by someone or something that wasn't supposed to be in the Winmei. He couldn't let the hollow die, it was against his pact. While he moved the runt was removing multiple safety pins from his clothing and flicking them all about the maze ahead of him as markers. If he could do this in one blow it would be choice. Up ahead he could hear the battle intensifying and it wasn't until he slid into position between an unknown character and Ill himself that Quin really saw what was going on.
"HEY!" He growled slamming Diem on the floor before him. If Ill died there would be hell to pay. Jumping ontop of the mirror, Quin stood glaring down at the figure suppressing the Hollow. He had to get rid of him before he had a chance to deal anymore damage!
He kicked off the master lock containing his weapon and pushed every ounce of magic energy he had in his body into charging the mirror. Seemingly from deep within the black depths of the glass a gradual flare of light began to consume the dark. Before anyone else could attack, the runt flicked out a hand and snapped. Though the gesture of simple, the mirror that was his support shattered, various, magic-charged pieces flying about the maze with remarkable precision to land infront of the dozens of safety pins he'd set down on his way here.
"Diem," he barked while the black shards slowly charged to searingly bright flecks of light surrounding their battleground. "REFRACT." (4) A spray of magic charged rays consumed the maze in blinding light blazing through just about anything they came into contact with, a single spell bouncing from shard to chard in a deadly catalyst.
Jumping down from the frame of the mirror the runt dashed to the suffering and injured Illya, grabbing the Hollow's wrist and fleeing the scene under the distraction of his attack. "MOVE!"
