| Winmei is a summons have you noticed? She's also a character from the second board. Most of the summons you see were once characters from the boards. Jjin for example was a fighter who became a hollow when her lover was executed. And others are from other boards like Desvanau Omega syn and Flare Reverse Fiction.
Winmei did create the maze on the second board. She used it as an escape route to escort the prisoners she saved from wrongful trial and punishment. Among them I believe were Vostal, Quin, and unbelievably myself. When Nema was sealed away in marble by Negumi, Euphoria, and Elerin, she was sealed at the innermost sanctum of the Winmei maze. Having it open is not just a coincidence.
The maze is opened as a special battlegrounds and I'm not sure if it will stay open.
