None remember a time without them; the Euphoric.
At first they came in pairs, one male, one female.
Then they came alone
broken things with wings mere skeletons upon their scarred backs.
And finally, they stopped arriving seemingly from thin air altogether.
In the beginning their songs rejuvenated the land. and yet as they fell slower to our world and arrived in worse condition we were forced to capture them and strip them of their power by sheer violence in order to harvest their blessings...
For even as the Euphoric fell, they brought with them unspeakable horrors.

History: Illya fell through the crest not long after his sister. They were the first pair. His love of her was not enough to protect her form those who captured and enslaved her though and for that he feels a deep swell of regret and even despises himself. Ill is a level-headed creature in most other aspects but his opinion of himself makes him self destructive. He vowed to do whatever it took to rescue Euphoria even if it meant offering himself or another Euphoric in her place.
