Once he saw the euphoric being drug away Diemos became overcame with foreign emotions, the most predominant was one he recognized as a need to preserve this individual...was he being protective? why? Being one of few questions he choose to humor the sudden urge, realizing that the captive may be of some significance. Producing a long strand of wire from his person he came within range with demonic speed running low to the ground.

The only possible warning of an attack was made by the thin wire cutting the air. The loop gliding effortlessly to its target to serve as a makeshift noose(5). Though the initial attack would not inflict no more than a mere whiplash, should it land a world of scenarios for pain and anguish would become assessable.

He glanced sidelong at the minute threat that had been rude enough to aim a strike his way and blinked at the thin slit in his shoulder where a narrow swell of crimson was starting to boil to the surface. Nevermind the sleeve now laying worthlessly at his feet. Grunting his disapproval he resumed ushering his captive out of the neighborhood skipping from light pool to light pool as the element faded with the growing night. "We'll talk about the shirt you owe me later," he called to their attacker. Fuck that. Vostal was a lot of things. Stupid enough to linger in Nomida after dark was not one of them. To the Euphoric barely keeping stride with him he added flatly, "If I get you to water before the night hits, you'd better feed me."

Though slightly aggravated he had missed, Vostal had yet to elude his pursuer. The fleeing Laruae was running towards the only inhabitable town for miles, the direction that Diemos recently came from. And due to the fact that he was preoccupied with his bout with the Euphoirc he had plenty of time to lay an intricate web of wire-base traps ranging from snares(2) to trip-lines(1) to hamper any escape. Before returning to the chase he scanned the horizon with annoyed, wondering when Amber would join in on the hunt?

He wasn't in the mood for all this nonsense and swung the Euphoric around in front of him, flashing Grimm's hooked blade around to rest on the creature's collarbone. "OY!" he shouted with a more or less antagonized bite to his tone, "You better provide a distraction for us before that big nasty shows up," he snarled at the angel. What the hell was it about tourists that they didn't comprehend the dangers of a Nomidian night?! Already he'd lost a sleeve and was barely enduring a slit ankle. It wasn't so much the idea of limping on a cut limb that bothered him as what he knew walked the darkness. Already they'd run out of light touching the ground. Nomida was growing darker by the second...

"vo........stal. " All of a sudden Her eyes lit up with understanding. It was him she was to protect...... With lightning speed she vaulted across the nomida, moving swiftly past her comrade Diemos, Closing the distance between herself and the man she was sworn to protect.

Responding to the cue, Ill nodded curtly and placed himself between his momentary escort and the white-clad creature trying to obstruct their escape. Time was running out. It was only a few more minutes before it realized there were so many still alive and active on its hunting ground. The creature that haunted Nomida was no joke and they couldn't afford to waste anymore time.
Slamming his hands to the ground he pushed his every emotion into summoning a distraction to mask their escape.

Diemos froze in mid stride, realizing that the Euphoric he was trying to save from his capture had sent something to hinder his rescue he became dumbfounded. The odd man pointed a long sleeve at Ill, the end of a finger protruding through the cloth. He placed his other hand flat against his chest, " ...friend? " he managed with a raspy voice, showing that he was in fact there to help. Tilting his head to one side, he awaited for the Ephoric's reaction.

He stepped back not trusting the thing before him. It didn't look anything like what he was used to encountering. Nothing about it was human, nothing seemed quite right. It moved like liquid terror and he knew better than to trust anything that slouched. Pointedly he looked to Vostal who was so busy running he hadn't noticed the breif pause in the least. Holding out a hand to rest on Desvanau he stilled the summons and was about to dismiss it. But...
Night.
Night had fallen...and...
Suddenly dropping to his knees, Ill clawed at his ears releasing a panicked yelp. THAT SOUND! THAT SOUND! He shut his eyes and did all he could to drown it out. It was screaming at him. It was tugging at every fiber of his being. The Euphoric licked his dry lips and tried not to scream. Why now?

"The Harvest is coming."

"Pasquale could not help but stir his curiosity from the massive levels of chaos surrounding the nearby area. This time, he was tired of the chaos. All Pasquale was looking for was peace and quiet and so far nothing but destruction had found it's way down the path he traveled at this point in time. He ran as fast as he could and saw an ominous figure standing before him, as if summoned by those around him.

In fear of his life for his sudden intrusion, he withdrew a blade from his staff and dove after Desvanau (6), swinging with sheer adrenaline, hoping to land some sort of a blow to ensure he could get a safe enough distance away.

"Oh God, what have I done" he thought to himself, now realizing the increduous stupidity he had just bestowed upon himself.

With the fall of night it perks his curiosity to find that his Horror companion has stormed off towards the Nomidian complex. Quin follows close in its tracks and stops just short of what looks to be a rather eventful scene. His lips cracking in a grin he crossed his arms and called the four-legged Horror back to his side before his little friend got mixed up in a mess that wasn't theirs to clean up.
"Ori! Ori get back here."

Instantly reacting, Desvanau glanced at the creature making gestures against him and reached up to remove one of the various black rites sheathed about his being. The blade screeched as it was withdrawn, a precautionary to the damage intended next. Rearing his hand behind his ear the summons locked his eyes upon the target and unleashed a bone shattering backhand at the lesser thing in his way(5), the air ripping with the surprisingly restrained force of the blow. (4,3,4) Its gaze snapped to the woman and the youth in Horror escort.

Her weapon sliced through the air by sheer instinct, the force of her swing dispelling the tail end of the rippling pulse before she could even realize what had happened. "did i just......" Why had she saved the boy? Was her mind really acting without her knowledge? or was there something she didn't realize causing her to so carelessly strike against the summon and protect it's victim?

Pasquale flew back from the sheer force of the blow, though not all of it was recieved by his body. His back landed flush on the wall opposite of him as he came crashing to the ground. A fire of sorts blazed in his eyes as he regained his composure and grasped the two swords in his hands once again. "You're gonna regret doing that asshole.." He barked at the summons.

A flashback graced his mind as he recalled horrors of the past for the first time in days. One word seemed to dance across his mind. "Synaria...." He thought outloud. Snapping back to his senses he darted his eyes back to Desvanau. "I wouldn't do that again..."

It came like the wind and the night knowing no bounds to its power of limits to its cruelty. From the thickening shadows of the night something truly grotesque arose to its hunting ground, summoned by the flurry of emotions raging through the living. Flesh. Hearts. Souls. Blood that yearned and cried for heat and passion.
Mouth a crooked slit on its pitch black face the things seemed to consume every shred of light about it, sapping even the dark of its fragile luminance. Each step towards the small cluster of living beings on its hunting ground seemed to send tremors through the earth.
A single, arching wing jutted from its curled back composed of chipping bones and draped with rotting flesh. The odor it gave off was horrendous. And as it lurched forward and screamed the most disturbingly loud and wretched scream, the thing lifted a mass of writing shadow composing its forward limb and crashed it against every individual on the field save of all things, a grinning youth in the company of one of its own--a Horror. The shockwaves that screamed with the attack shattered the earth and pulled up the ruins from their already crumbled foundations practically setting Nomida on its side once more.

He watched as the attack passed through him much the way a ghost slips through walls. Looking around to make sure no one else notices his little pact with the Horrors Quin kneels beside Ori and scratches behind the things shadows limbs. "Looks like they might die, Ori" he tells his Horror. "Should we help them out?" Quin stands and cups his hands around his mouth calling to the more or less Shit outta luck party. "HEY! YOU WANT SOME HELP?!"

Pasquale looked up through weak eyes, knowing he had taken some pretty nasty hits. Somehow he managed to bring himself back to his feet. "Help us. Though we know not whether we can survive on our own, there is always strength in numbers." He mustered.

Pasquale darted into a maddash once again as he sprung into the air and whisked his blades around and into the small of the creatures back (12). He landed and gave himself distance enough to dodge if need be.
