We're going to run through this real fast and easy since the real spine of the plot will be up to all of us as a team effort.

First: Euphorics, Eurial, and Laruae

Euphorics: "Angels" so to speak. They've fallen to the city of Faetil, bringing with them nightmarish things known as Horrors and are being harvested for their power in order to generate barriers to keep the Horrors out of the city.

Eurial: individuals who believe that the Euphoric have every right to live in peace and should be treated equally as blessings to the city rather than being viciously enslaved and harvested. These individuals are willing to give their lives to protect and help the Euphoric.

Laruae: Existing on the other side of the spectrum of belief, Laruae realize the importance of the Euphoric power source and fight desperately to harvest them in order to keep the grater populous alive and safe from the clutches of Horrors.



CHOOSING YOUR SIDE:

Euphoric: There can only be 3 Euphoric at a time. Luckily, thanks to the efforts of Laruae and even the Eurial, it is possible for these slots to become available in the future. Don't be afraid to die here. It means being able to create another character and take a different path. However, realize that death also means giving up your absorbed abilities and allies. Guard your life well for being re birthed means starting over from scratch. Also only those who have absorbed the Share-Revival ability from a Euphoric can revive their original character. Others have to start over again.

Eurial: Because they work closer with the Euphoric, those on the Eurial side will absorb abilities from their Euphoric faster. However, the abilities absorbed are not for them to choose but for their Euphoric. Eurial also have better access to the inner city but are at high risk for battle in the defense of their Euphoric.

Laruae: Those who choose to become a Laruae will have better defense against the Horror. They will absorb Euphoric Abilities slower than Eurial, but only Laruae can trade Euphoric abilities in the midway Ebon Market.


EUPHORIC ABILITIES AND ABSORBING THEM

Each of the 3 Euphoric in play will be able to select 3 abilities that will be absorbed gradually by the players they spend the most time around. You can check on the abilities absorbed by revisiting your profile.
The available abilities include:
Revive: Revives your Euphoric once.
Bless: Adds +2 to any dice roll
Immortality: Allows you to maintain your original chracter when killed 3 times.
Share Immortality: Revives a fallen human original even if the Immortality ability has not been absorbed
Cruelty: sacrifices your Euphoric to save a human original once.
Element use (magic): enables the use of magic
Flight: subtracts -2 from an enemy attack dice roll
Seduce: Steals +2 from an enemy attack roll and adds it to a Euphoric attack roll
Feign Humanity: Allows a human to take an attack directed at their Euphoric

Absorbing your Euphoric's abilities can take anywhere from Days to weeks. The heavier your interaction or alliance with them, the more likely you are to absorb their abilities. If your Euphoric dies, you lose the absorbed abilities and must start from scratch. If you die but have the Share-immortality ability you may keep 1 of the abilities absorbed at your choice. The other two must be relearned.

All extra absorbable Abilities:


A-

Ash- Turns all elements in battle both allied and enemy into Flare element.
Arrogance- +3 to 1 attack roll.

B-

Blackout- -8 to all enemy and ally rolls for 2 posts, zero damage to both sides, No vision.
Black Soul- (only if you lose your euphoric to fate or murder them yourself) +5 to all aggressive rolls against enemy equipped with "Holy soul"

Bleed: -2 to every other enemy roll for 4 posts.

C-

Catalyst- any ability used that adds points to an enemy roll now adds points to all allied rolls as well.
Common Suffering- Enemy abilities that take points off allied rolls now take points off enemy rolls.

D-

Demonology- -3 to all horror, reaper, and hollow rolls against you.
Desvanau's Hate- (Only if the High Summons Desvanau is killed in your service) -12 to all rolls for the first 3 posts of each of your battles for 2 weeks.

Disbelief- 0 for all enemy magic rolls for 3 turns.

E-

Eclipica's Tears (Only if the High Summons Eclipica is killed in your service) -12 to all rolls made by the individual who killed her for 2 weeks.

F-

Fail Safe- Nullifies a Fatal Blow 3 times in battle.

G-
H-

Holy Soul- (Only when blessed by your Euphoric who must make a deal with Fate) +5 to all rolls against an enemy equipped with Black soul.

Hollow Blessing- (only when Euphoric is sacrificed to Fate) While in the presence of your Hollowed Euphoric, zero damage.

I-

Innocence- Protects your Euphoric from death 1 time in battle at no cost to you.

J-
K-

M-

Martyr- If killed in battle, you may roll for a final death blow against the individual killing you.
Masochist- +4 to attack rolls when equipped with Sadist

N-

Necromancy- Enables you to perform Days of the dead every 100 points. Zero damage when facing Horrors, Reaper, and Hollow shells.

Novice: -4 to all enemy rolls for 2 posts
Nema's Kiss- Activates all absorbed abilities at once in battle

O-

R-

Requiem: Eliminates Death Blow capability within the ongoing battle

S-

Sadist- +2 to attack rolls against you
Summon- Enables the summon weapon ability.
Symbolic Weapon- Adds magic to all physical attacks.

T-
U-

Unconditional Faith: Magic rolls automatically hit for 2 turns.

V-

Vindictive Demise- -5 to all aggressive rolls cast by the individual who killed you for the remainder of battle

W-

War Call- (Only when allied with a Sinclair) +5 to ability rolls when entering a battle with Sinclair at your side.
